How to use IQOS ILUMA i
The IQOS ILUMA i device is part of the new generation of IQOS ILUMA devices powered by our bladeless SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™, giving you clean and more flexible experiences.
In addition to the Touch Screen on the Holder, the device has a range of smart features like Pause Mode, FlexPuff, and FlexBattery that help to adapt and personalise the experience. Learn how to activate/deactivate features on the IQOS app
Note: IQOS ILUMA i PRIME and IQOS ILUMA i devices function in the same way and have the same advanced features, but there are aesthetic differences which set them apart.
The Pocket Charger of the IQOS ILUMA i mid-range device features our original tilt-door design and the Holder has a black Touch Screen, while our top-of-the-range device, IQOS ILUMA i PRIME, has a stylish wrap closure and colour-matched Touch Screen.
Step by step guide on how to use IQOS ILUMA i devices:
1.Turn on your device: Press the Pocket Charger button for 4 seconds, then release. Lights will turn on slowly.
2.Place the Holder inside the Pocket Charger to charge. Round lights will show the Holder’s battery level.
3.Once charged, insert a SMARTCORE STICK™ into the Holder up to the line on the filter until the Holder vibrates.
4.wipe up over the Touch Screen to start preheating.
5.When the experience ends, remove the used SMARTCORE STICK and dispose of it responsibly based on the Safety Warnings and Instructions. Read safety information
Tips for best maintenance of your IQOS ILUMA i
To ensure your IQOS ILUMA i continues to perform at its best, you must:
- Avoid overcharging: While it’s tempting to leave your device on charge overnight, it’s best to unplug the charger once the device is fully charged. That said, don’t let your battery completely drain either.
- Store safely: When not in use, store your IQOS ILUMA i device in a cool and dry place to keep it free of contaminations like fluff, dust, dirt and moisture, and away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
- Firmware updates: Regularly check if firmware upgrades are available for your IQOS ILUMA i. You can check the IQOS app or website for updates and follow instructions to keep your device running smoothly on the latest version.
